John Roseveare

In a career spanning forty years, I have worked across the public, commercial and not-for-profit sectors as a trusted independent project manager, chairperson, non-executive director, trustee, advisor, and treasurer. I have worked in the regeneration, culture, transport and education sectors, including:

●      As Chair, steering Brent Specialist Academy from maintained school to Trust status in 2017, opening a Free School, and awarded School of the Year at the 2019 National School Awards;

●      Founding an innovative consultancy business with an annual turnover of £750k p.a.

●      Establishing a Centre of Excellence for sustainable transport with Southampton City Council and the University of Southampton worth £4m.

●      Leading the Solent Gateways Project for the Isle of Wight & Southampton Council’s worth £300m+.

●      Leading Light at the End of the Tunnel for Cross River Partnership, a £20m award winning walking scheme involving improvements to over 60 railway tunnels lying to the south of the Thames.

●      Shortlisted for the Solent Design Awards 2016 and received the 2008 London Planning Awards ‘Best Project to Protect Communities’ and the BEX 2008 International Awards ‘Best Project Collaboration’ award.

I have a BSc in Science and Society, a coaching and mentoring qualification from Sheffield Hallam University, and in 2019, gained the highly respected Financial Times Non-Executive Director (NED) Diploma.
